Does Storm Want Zephyr Scribe?

I dont play Storm and I do not know much of its inner workings. Just this guy looked like he would be helpful. Idk thoughts?
Generally, if you think of a card that might be good for storm, look only to the banlist. There is nothing currently legal that is good enough and not already played.

You'd need to get something that generates a lot of value. The scribe offers a lackluster body that offer the option to loot a turn later and for investing mana into it. If that effect were free and he was 2 mana, people would look at it seriously. As it stands, he's just too costly and slow.

If the effect didn't cost mana, then it could be a Rare and yeah, it could see play. But the one blue is a waste of mana.

Nope, too high of CMC with too little of an effect.
