Is enchantment removal common in modern sideboards?
The most threatening Enchantment in Modern is Splinter Twin , but you don't really have time to remove that. It's best countered with Suture Priest /Rakdos Charm /etc.

Back to Nature
is in my Jund side board. Gets the job done pretty well as boggles and twin are in my meta. It kind of screws them both. Rakdos charm and golgari charm hose twin quite a bit, also.

I'm trying to figure out if I should run Aegis of the Gods
over True Believer
. I like true believer because it has the extra toughness. But i like aegis because its a soldier and I run Field Marshal
in my deck, but aegis is an enchantment so it can be targeted by Path to Exile
, Erase
, and Lightning Bolt
. So is aegis worth it?

Most people will not expressly sideboard in their enchantment removal just to deal with Aegis of the Gods , especially if they know you're not playing Splinter Twin . Most of the enchantment removal will try to be as versatile as possible, such as Nature's Claim or Fracturing Gust , and many decks use Torpor Orb as their sideboard hate of choice against Splinter Twin . You should be much more than fine. The real worry should be how fragile the creature is anyway. Note that True Believer can still be removed by normal means such as Path to Exile or Lightning Bolt .
tl;dr: Just sideboard in 4 Leyline of Sanctity . It's much better.

Wear / Tear shows up u/w/r lists. Abrupt Decay (usually mainboarded) shows up also. If you're looking for ways to deal with Splinter Twin , it's best to remove their target when casting it, instead of let it hit the ground. If you're looking to deal with Porphyry Nodes , Ghostly Prison or similar... then yeah, most of these will help.

It depends what you're expecting to play against and what the hardest matchups are for your deck. Some of the new gods, like Athreos, God of Passage might be a problem, but maybe something like Oblivion Ring is more versatile so you don't need enchant removal? That is, if you're playing white. Basically it depends
