In a deck centered around mostly burn spells comboing with Guttersnipe, would it be advisable to put kracken hatchling in the place of Fog Bank for the one less mana?
these are mostly for blocking incoming damage to guttersnipe.

There's some fun ones that burn and counter at the same time

No. Read the first line of Emrakul, the Aeons Torn's text

Well, they still get hit by Emrakul, the Aeons Torn's 15 power, even if it doesn't get countered. :D
Anyways, back to the point. Mr_Fuji, it depends on your meta really, if you see people running lots of burn/removal, kraken is better, doesn't die to bolt and you waste less mana on it.

Yeah not like Remand, it doesn't have the "If it countered this way..."
So it doesn't get countered amd they take 15.

"Ye old spaghetti monster"? That's a new one, I'm going to forever refer to Emrakul as that. Thank you.

Hm. I never considered attempting to counter an uncounterable spell. I figured it couldn't be targeted, but I suppose you can technically target indestructible creatures with killspells. I'll use that as an analogy
