GB nonbos

One new thing that came out of the World Championships was this new GB deck that plays all of the non-red Jund stuff along with Scavenging Ooze . It continued on into the Modern MOCS, where three of the top 8 were this style deck (though one splashed white).

I saw the video of it on SCG with BBD playing it and CVM playing Affinity. The GB deck looked horrible. There were so many times where his creatures would step all over each other, where things would happen like Scavenging Ooze growing by shrinking Tarmogoyf and things like that.

Obviously the power level of the cards is very high and the GB deck is going to do well a lot of the time anyway. I also know that Jund-style decks rely entirely on that power and display almost no synergy. But isn't no synergy a lot better than actually putting a nonbo in your deck on purpose? Couldn't this deck be better if its creatures didn't fight amongst themselves?

Generally goyf is big enough to make it worth while. Even it if it is a 3/4 cause you don't exile enchantments, planeswalkers or artifacts, as rare as they are. The individual power of the card makes up for the nobo, especially when you are filling the graveyard with your lilis, thoughtsiezes and other cards. Ooze only gets bigger when it needs too and it fights other oozes/goyfs.
