Goblin Rabblemaster in Modern
Modern forum

Hey all,
I'm primarily a budget modern and standard player. I currently play burn in modern. But was thinking of playing some standard. I'm always hesitant to jump in because of the price change of cards from standard to modern when they cycle out. So I'm curious if anyone thinks Rabblemaster has or will have modern value? Trying to figure out whether to commit to getting a set of Rabblemaster and if they'll have playability in modern when they eventually cycle out. Thanks all!

You could just play both in your Goblins deck.
Otherwise, people some times try to Jund with Rabblemaster, but that's fringe and probably out of your range anyway.

Rabblemaster is alright in goblin decks. Not the best, but definitely playable. Goblins is not a good deck, though.

It's better in Legacy due to the card pool, but it's not really competitive in Modern.

I see it kinda like the recent Scavenging Ooze or Trostani, Selesnya's Voice for the modern format

Yea it's exactly like the recent Snapcaster Mage or Sangromancer for the modern format Tarmotoo

Not really, no. Goblin Chieftain is generally better for goblin decks, and rabble master won't be seen anywhere else.
