Goblin Rabblemaster in RUG delver?

Is rabblemaster a viable option to run if we don't have the 73 dollars to spend on a vendillion clique? It seems like it might be viable but I wanted to ask and make sure, instinctual need to be applauded and such.
If you do not have 73 dollars for clique, you probably do not have 800 for a playset of goyfs. I would then suggest cutting the green and running ur or uwr.
Rabblemaster and clique are not comparable, they do fundamentally different things.

If you're going to play RUG Delver, you play it right.
Just play straight UR, or maybe UWR.

Another thing is flash. Tempo decks don't like tapping out early like that.

Actually tempo decks have no problem tapping out early. They do however have a problem tapping out late and for delver decks turn 3 is late. The goal of a tempo deck is to deploy one of two threats and ride them to victory while slowing your opponent down with counterspells and other tempo plays.

Just here to mirror the sentiment that you probably shouldn't build RUG Delver without a significant budget. I would say that running UWR Delver is your best bet, since you can run some cheap removal spells like Path to Exile.
As for Goblin Rabblemaster, I would rather not see it. There are much stronger options like Geist of Saint Traft or Brimaz, King of Oreskos that don't fail the bolt test and also provide a lot of pressure. You could still run it, but it will eat so much removal that I doubt it will ever be a good turn 3 play.

Lol, so many comments saying "run RUG delver right" I was just curious, the sentence about affording them meant I was asking if it was a cheaper alternative... Jeez I just wanted to limit spending so I could see if I could get my girlfriend something special. Lol

Boza I don't need to buy any goyfs, I already own a playset from time spiral. I just wanted to know if I could substitute rabblemaster for clique.

No, rabblemaster is not modern playable, even in goblin tribal. Quirion Dryad is the best option IMO on a budget.

In my experience playing RUG delver and Twin, the V-clique is one of the least important creatures. Its important (especially in the current meta) but not absolutely necessary. I wouldn't necessarily play another creature in its place TBH. A list would help

I've found that neither of those cards are necessary in Delver. You want to have 12 cheap creatures. I would stick with Delver of Secrets Flip, Monastery Swiftspear, and Tarmogoyf if I were you, and then just play burn and counterspells. Goblin Rabblemaster is worse than Young Pyromancer in nearly every situation, so if you need a way to make tons of guys, use Pyro.

Methinks it has less impact than a Monastery Mentor, and even that is too slow for american delver.
