good cards against hexproof deck

Modern forum

I feel like this is the appropriate forum for this but I apologize in advance if not. I am going to a modern tournament at my local shop tomorrow and I am using a B/U/G control deck but my friend is using a boggle deck, which is the biggest pain in the ass against a deck with a lot of removal. My question is what cards should I sideboard specifically for a boggle deck? I do not have access to the pricey cards at the moment.

Anything that forces sacrifice. Fleshbag Marauder, Devour Flesh, Barter in Blood, all that stuff. Or boardwipes. I see you can't get Damnation, but Black Sun's Zenith is a personal favorite.

Glaring Spotlight shuts down Hexproof for 1 mana. For late game, Archetype of Endurance removes Hexproof on their creatures and gives it to yours, but that's probably too slow versus a bogle deck. Other than that, go with what Unforgivn_II says and force sacrifice or wipe.

Back to Nature does wonders against them as well and its not ruined by Dryad Arbor which some bogle decks run as anti-sac protection by fetching it with fetch lands in response to a sac card. :3

Engineered Explosives is also pretty good.

Spellskite is where it's at since it screws Hexproof over as well as burn.

@Kiora_Fan-01 Once they have a Rancor or Spirit Mantle, blocking isn't an option.

I'd say Spellskite is your best bet. It is useful in other matchups, but also allows you to steal just about every enchantment you need. If you are on the play, you can even deny them their Daybreak Coronets.

I forgot to add in that you have to put in enchantment hate in the Sb for that to work, thanks @lemmingllama

Crime/Punishment is one I haven't seen mentioned yet either. Another nice wipe card is Gaze of Granite especially useful against more aggro decks when they over-extend.

Its not that you're wrong, I can understand mistakes. Its the arrogance thats implied with the "/thread" comment that I don't appreciate.
