is it possible to design a Maze's End deck for modern that can win turn 4/5?

Replace the Ravnica bounce lands with your gates into the Summer Bloom deck, would be the only way to do that.

And it would probably be terrible.

An interesting idea. With Legacy-legal cards, I think it may be possible. Exploration comes to mind here. Primeval Titan , if ramped to, is a good card for it. Gatecreeper Vine , Overgrown Battlement , and Axebane Guardian are good rampers. Sylvan Caryatid and Courser of Kruphix are also great.

End of story: green stuff.

Simply put, no. If there was a way to have 11 nonbasic lands on the field on turn 5 in Modern, people would already be using it. There would be some potential in a Primeval Titan strategy if every land in the Maze's End package didn't come in tapped. Coming in tapped really hurts the speed of the deck shell.

Maze's End is meant to be used in a control deck so is meant to win turn 10+

NobodyPicksBulbasaur you could use an Amulet of Vigor

awesomeguy37 and modern is meant to win faster than standard where yes, it's a control deck. meanwhile i know that there's atleast 2 fog cards for 1 mana ([[fog]+[holy day]]) that can go into a modern version, Amulet of Vigor as you stated makes for a decent speed boost to the deck turn 2 and there's a few cards that allow for more lands to be played each turn Summer Bloom Walking Atlas Rites of Flourishing Oracle of Mul Daya to name a couple

You could make it like a pseudo Scapeshift deck, but I don't believe it would be nearly fast enough when faced with fairly consistent turn 4 combo decks. If you can figure it out and it works for you go for it, but I don't see it happening at a competetive level
