I Need an Idea

I need an idea for a Modern deck. Something that can do powerful things, and approaches the format from a new angle. Any ideas? Preferably something that isn't janky, but whatever you have would be awesome. Thanks!

Strong, something never seen before, and not janky.

If you build a deck like this, let me know, because it'll be tier-1.

By that I meant that when your deck is going as it should, cool things happen, not necessarily game-winning always but just a fresh idea.

sounds like you're looking for a combo deck

I'll tell you the same thing I tell everybody who starts a thread like this: We need to know more about you.

What do you like? What color(s) do you like to play? Would you rather play fast or slow? How original do you need to be exactly? Would a fresh take on an existing deck (i.e. Pod, Hatebears, Fae, etc) be sufficient, or do you want something truly never tried before? You don't want jank, so are you hoping to consistently 2-2? 3-1? 4-0?

I'd be happy to help, but without knowing more I'll just tell you to play monowhite control.

Proteus Staff with only creatures being super fatties like Emrakul, the Aeons Torn . Make creature tokens or use man lands to cheat out Emrakul turn 4 or so.

Recent combo I discovered via some Inspiration , Intruder Alarm + Thraben Doomsayer + humans like Champion of the Parish for the added tribal aspect. Make infinite humans for lols. Either American or Bant, one for Champion of Lambholt and the other for Kessig Malcontents . Seems fun.

Also very important - what kind of budget are we talking about? $100-$200? $300-$400? $500+?

With Proteus Staff , Mutavault works well. It only costs 1 mana to activate and can tap/activate itself. With a mana-rock on turn-2, you could easily pull off an Emrakul turn-4.

Well, "easily" as in "it would occur frequently while fish-bowling".
