We must innovate, always.
What do people think of Tasigur, the Golden Fang Scapeshift? You can check out my take on it on my profile.
I feel that Tasigur adds a card advantage tool while also having a Tarmogoyf effect on opposing blue decks: Kill this or it kills you. If they manage to kill/counter him, that's less cards I have to deal with when I try to combo.

@NorthernRaven It's not always that easy. Against BGx decks, they will make you discard your hand and it can be difficult to find the resources you need to win. Against Twin, they will have counterspells. Tasigur lets you (hopefully) pull some good cards out of your yard, while also walling Siege Rhino and friends for days or mandating an answer that in turn lets you go off unimpeded. It's also just a very powerful card, and I'm seeing if it fits into the shell properly.

Uh, I don't know. It just seems unnecessary in a deck that has Tarmogoyf and doesn't need that much creature power in the first place. It's the kind of change that doesn't hurt the deck (Scapeshift can run a fourth color just fine anyway), but doesn't improve it either.

Well, it doesn't seem too bad of an idea. I splashed black in my Jeskai control deck for sideboard Lingering Souls, and it's working pretty well.

Maybe a jund version of the deck with tasigur would be cool. Both the original combo kill, then the ob nixilis the fallen version in the deck plus normal beat down. But that's just a thought from someone who doesn't play the deck.

Actually, I don't really see the reason to why playing it.... I'm maybe a bit lost here, but I thought scapeshift wanted to just control until they got 7 lands, and then play scapeshift and win...?
