Can Intruder Alarm be part of a tier 2 combo deck? It can slow down an opponents attacks on its own, which is nice, but is there a deck to build around it? I've tried with Bloodline Keeper Flip and Thraben Doomsayer and it just seems to slow. And Presence of Gond isn't a good option either. Any thoughts out there?
Oh I know why it's clunky! The tokens don't have haste!

yep! i wasn't sure if I could mitigate the problem with lots of control goodies, but Im thinking the lack of haste is a deal breaker. Twin can win turn 4. Here we might have our combo assembled on turn four but we won't be able to tap for creatures until turn 5 and then those tokens won't be able to attack until turn 6...

T3 Doomsayer
T4 alarm - infinite tokens
T5 swing
You leave yourself vulnerable though.

Mass Hysteria can make it a turn 4 kill, but it's then 3 cards.

Intruder Alarm is a part of the UG modern combo elves deck. It is a functional deck but loses really hard to Anger of the Gods

And part of the reason why splinter twin is so good is because it sets up at instant speed and kills the very next turn. I dont think this is a good combo, epecially since the combo peices arent disruptive at all

I saw a sweet deck using Forbidden Orchard, Kiora's Follower, and Wargate to go with Intruder Alarm to give your opponent an infinite number of spirits. Then you Wargate out a Massacre Wurm and kill them. It's super janky but super fun to see play out.

Chord of Calling is strictly better than wargate

Unless you need to find, I dunno, any of the combo pieces. With that you can pull out the Forbidden Orchard or Intruder Alarm.

Well if Splinter Twin plays both Deceiver Exarch and the aforementioned enchantment this can't be THAT bad.
