Is Bloom Titan viable?

Now... By viable I don't just mean can it win but can it consistently top 8 as it just did at GP Milan. I am looking to build the deck and was wondering if it could some day dominate the meta...
That is the problem with it. If you don't draw amulet, your screwed. Some versions (like mine) run copies of Trinket Mage to tutor for amulet but the deck seems to but draw consistently in my playtests.

I ran it for a while, its biggest issue was that it can really easily flop. It's hard to mulligan safely, lots of builds are easily disrupted (the more consistent are less effective), and it's a really narrow strategy.
If the stars align it can blow out any deck. If they don't, and they usually don't, you're gonna be playing lots of catch up.

This is why I think they should do some unbanning in modern. Make a few more decks tier 1 to diversify the meta. LIKE Bloom Titan, Ad Naseum, Elves, and others.

@Caligula What would they unban to make Bloom Titan or Ad Nauseam viable? I really don't see anything on the banlist that would make them less fringe without making another generally more viable deck even better.

It's just not a good deck. It's very fragile, inconsistent and the deck isn't powerful enough to make it worthwhile playing. The deck just loses to itself half the time and then most of the rest of your games it will lose to your opponents disruption.

Could one of y'all explain "Bloom Titan", or direct me to where I could find out about it?

CharlesMandore You use the Ravnica bounce lands along Amulet of Vigor, Azusa, Lost but Seeking and Summer Bloom to generate a huge amount of mana to power out an early Primeval Titan that gets Slayers' Stronghold to make it hasty, or you can win by casting Hivemind and a pact.

Granted this deck is no Jeskai Ascendancy but it is still pretty high ranking on mtg top 8. My question is how does it keep winning. Also, would Trinket Mage be a good out to the amulet problem? It seems like that's the only thing that's hard to tutor for.

It's very hit or miss. Some games you will kill faster than any deck except Infect, other games you will do absolutely nothing and die. I wouldn't recommend it, as it's very fragile and loses to most disruption.

I actually need someone to write Amulet of Vigor descriptions on the Modern Format Primer page.

CrazyLittleGuy some cards that could potentially help would be Green Sun's Zenith, Cloudpost.

I can write one too, although I have to say I never took the deck anywhere larger than fnm. I played it and tested a lot, though.

nbarry223 Has a pretty strong version of the deck, and knows a great deal about it. HIs list is rather different from stock lists, but I'm sure he's familiar with more stock lists.

Yeah, I don't like the stock lists for the reasons Jp3ngu1nb0y mentioned. It's very hit or miss, so don't expect them to consistently top 8. I feel my version is a lot more consistent, as it trades off the Hive Mind route for that consistency.
I can write an intro or whatever, if someone explains how to me. I never knew of such a thing on the site.

Modern Format Primer. Check out the mini primers on there. If you could write a similar thing as a deck description I'll add it into the primer.
