I'm looking for a replacement that is modern legal. Can anyone help?

The Q and A is for rules questions, really.

Gatherer is a good tool for this.

There are plenty of cards that are enchantments that stop creatures attcking or blocking, eg. Pacifism , but I can't find anything like Song of Serenity , sorry.

A good way to check this would have been to use advanced search on gatherer for the oracle wording of the card effect. The oracle wording is kept up to date with any rules revisions and errata.

In this case a search in the rules text field for "Creatures that are enchanted can't attack or block." (the oracle wording, rather than the one on the card). You could drop the word "attack" or "block" depending on what you were after, and mess around with the And/Or/Not dropdown menu.

But no, it doesn't look like there's one available. Shame, as this would make a hell of an impact on standard!

You have to go through a filter page to ask a question in the Q&A. That page specifically says the Q&A handles only rules questions. Don't disregard that notice.

While they are not the same, some options might include:

Cowed by Wisdom

Forced Worship

Teferi's Moat

What do you need the card to do? Are you looking to stop the Auras deck? If so, these may not work due to hexproof.

Back to Nature is your best bet, as Nobilior suggested. Since it's an instant, you can watch your opponent walk right into a giant trap and get blown out.
