You guys could post your favorite creature as well:

but My goal is to find 'good' creatures and here is a list of what I have gathered so far which will give you an idea of what I am looking for:

Knight of the Reliquary, Scavenging Ooze, Mul Daya Channelers, Courser of Kruphix, Brimaz, King of Oreskos, Qasali Pridemage, Jorubai Murk Lurker, Noble Hierarch, and Omnath, Locus of Mana.

as well as Domri Rade and Phyrexian Obliterator.

Dark Confidant is tricky because he hurts you. rather than pure benefit he is a trade of life for power. He's good, but I don't liek cards like that: I want 100% profits with no detriments.

basically very efficient and multitasking utility creatures of very low cost.

anyone want to add? I am feverishly looking for cards like these: especially Knight of the Reliquary: she is the best in this list and I doubt she can be topped by another card.

If you can comment on my profile 5 decent, peer reviewed, explorations and pieces of support for creationism, then I'll be willing to listen. If not, then so be it on your head.

The point isn't that only the norm can be accepted. It's that you have to provide sufficient and compelling data if you want to challenge the norm and be recognized as a progressive. If you have insufficient data to substantiate your claims, then you'll be disregarded because there's no compelling reason to disregard the data we do have and do something that the data tells us is less viable.

I think perhaps you don't understand the difference between experimentation and vetting. You can experiment all you want, but unless your results are vetted, they probably won't successfully challenge the norm.

They are called creatures, not critters.

What a thread. Just wow.

Also, as someone who generally doesn't play , I'd like to butt in and reaffirm that Tarmogoyf is the best creature in Modern. There is no question about it.

geez. Successful troll is successful. Next thing you know, he'll be posting this on youtube titled "annoying squeakers rage over Tarmogoyf".

HA, well I was going to show all my bros where I live they would get a kick over this cause I argue the same thing with half of them (I convinced the other half and guess who's winning that tournament.... my half cough cough) ANYWAYS I saved this already as a word doc on my computer lols since it was in threat of removal.

but yes, (aherm) TRRROLLLOLOLOLOLOLLLOOOOLLOLOLOLOOLOLOLLLL!!!! (skippin and whistlin)

I assure you though that my intent wasn't to troll at all, I really don't want to be offensive or mean. I aim for development of myself and others through argument of things like this. some trolling makes people irritated which is a tactic to get them to spill their thoughts when they are reluctant.

April 12, 2015 7:52 p.m.

It wasn't your intent to troll, but you did anyways? You ignored proof given to you, discredited opinions, tried to spark a religious debate, and now you're saving it all so you and your friends can have a giggle? That seems pretty low.

I thought maybe something constructive would come of this, but obviously not.

April 12, 2015 7:58 p.m.

Actually the religious stuff was my fault. Ill-considered comments are bad.

nickiru says... #12

Yah, i just bolstered the religious argument, I didnt start that one lol... besides, that was fun right?

oh common guys... have a bit of sport. This was all funz right? if not, at least I did. I got something constructive. Its up to you to do so as well.

Refresh my memory, if you will. When was this thread in danger of being removed?

April 12, 2015 8:42 p.m.

nickiru says... #14

the religious debate: you said you didn't want that. also someone asked and so I respected it and asked you. there some 'slightly' scathing comments being thrown around to and I know you discourage destructive commentary.

that was it really: I never felt though that it got too bad. it was just a little heated cause I was going against the norm about goyf.

April 12, 2015 8:50 p.m.

If the conversation goes too far out of bounds, I just remove the offending comments. I don't terminate the thread if there's useful discussion going on in the meantime.

nickiru says... #16

Oh that's cool. sweet, well. i mean, sometimes useful stuff is mixed with scathing commentary... hmmm. WElll like you told me a while back: I'll trust your judgement.

You know what ur doing.
