Game 2 why didnt he put splinter twin on his shriekmaw so he could kill the auriok champion and end the game turns sooner?

The majority of decks can play around it fairly well. I don't believe this deck can even do that. It's got only 2 basics and one is a mountain

I thought Splinter Twinmidrange was already an established deck. With Living End as backup, of course.

To be completely honest after watching the set I'm inclinecd to try it out. I think with some mana base / sideboard tweaks, this can be a real thing

I reckon he should have put the Gifts package in the sideboard.
Can we do that with Twin as well? Just chuck in Gifts Ungiven, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Iona, Shield of Emeria and Unburial Rites.
