Is this card playable in modern. I know some general thinking would be if it can't win in 5 turns, it's not good for anything. But If I wanna play modern and I wanna run a deck with it for fun. Could it stand a chance in the modern format? Has anyone ever topped at an event with it and could I possibly see a deck list? I have my own build but I wanna see others...

No, it's a pretty terrible card. Don't even bother trying to toy with it honestly.

No, no one has done well with the card. It costs a million mana and doesn't do much for it. It dies to Abrupt Decay, which is incredibly relevant, as well as the usual Path to Exile. To cast it for any reasonable number you'd need to be at turn ~10+, which is very hard to do in the shell you'd need for this card.

tl;dr Too slow, not powerful enough.

Seems kinda cool with Liliana of the Dark Realms ultimate, but if that's what you're going for, you might as well just use a Profane Command to win.

Sorry, I was thinking about EDH applications since I saw Legendary Creature that's where my mind went immediately. No, that card is awful in modern. Don't play it. If you can make 3 black, might as well make 4 and just cast a Phyrexian Obliterator.

A good trick to find out if a deck ever top 8ed is to search it on mtgtop8.

Haha, this is actually the card that I have bookmarked for Magiccards.info. I see this card a ton. But Yea, I don't think it's that good, if you have the mana to make it work, you can do something better.

No it's not lol I legitly wanna run it but I dnt wanna get beat to badly if I make a deck around it. I was thinking bout splashing the tron engine that way I have 7 for three. And maybe one extra tower for the easy ten. But it does get pretty tricky running the two together...
