hey so I'm just now picking up mardu nahiri in paper and I'm wondering if anyone has either tips on the deck or is aware of any recent primers on the archtype I would appreciate it if you could direct me there!
Also if anyone has any information about the matchups or sideboard advice, just anything about the deck overall

Less than helpful. I'm running the wall of omens build anyways

I've been playing versions of Mardu Nahiri for several months now. I don't know that the archetype is developed well enough yet that I would trust anyone claiming to have a primer for the deck. There are a number of versions that, while they share 80% of their cards, have very different game plans.
As I see it the deck is excellent at trading cards one for one and if left unmolested will combo-kill with Nahiri. If she can't do it sometimes Lingering Souls and bolts might, but you start to see the weaknesses here. They are:
Can you build in enough 2-for-1's to win attrition battles?
Can you reliably win if you can't Nahiri ult? That is, what other wincons do you have?
Depending on how you answer these questions you might go heavier into a creature build (read: 10-14 creatures main). You might adopt a control strategy and go deeper on walkers. You might try to build more card draw into the deck. Or you might go deeper into a tokens build and become essentially BWr tokens.
I'm testing something a little rogue at the moment that I don't want to go into until I have more data.

well for a midrange version i can help more, id go with lingering souls, ajani vengeant, path, lightning bolt/helix, inquisition/thoughtseize, sculler, liliana of the veil, nahiri/emrakul combo, soulfire grandmaster/monastery mentor, kolaghan's command, terminate/dreadbore, crackling doom, hero of bladehold, kalitas, and maybe a pyroclasm or 2

The Nahiri discussion doesn't begin until about halfway through, but the entire thread is chock full of insight, ideas, and experiences. Start there.
