hi, wanted to know if mirage is legal in modern. want to be sure.

If it was printed beyond 8th edition, which sadly it wasn't. No, Mirage is not moderm legal.

However, there are cards in Mirage (45 of them, to be exact) that are Modern legal, due to being reprinted in a Modern legal set.
