Modern Burn Players........R/G or R/W?

So I am looking into transitioning my Legacy burn deck into a Modern burn deck. Seeing as Legacy is pretty much going the way of Vintage with SCG, I want to be able to continue to use a deck that I love to play.
Problem is, it seems like splashing green or white is common with burn, and not mono red. I would like to know from burn players, or people who have played against burn, which is more effective, the green or white splash?
I already have a lot of the staples to make this happen, such as 4 Goblin Guide 4 Lightning Bolt and would need to pick up 2 more Eidelon's and some Swiftspears. The manabase I guess is where I am torn too. I already have one Wooded Foothills and getting another wouldn't be bad, but I also have plenty of fetches to sell into Arid Mesa if need be.
Thanks for any opinions/help!

you don't actually need Arid Mesa to go into white. for either deck you'll only have shocks as your non-red sources, so any red fetch will get you any land out of your deck. That said, going with both is probably the prerfered option, Atarka's Command and Destructive Revelry are basically necessary and Boros Charm is ridiculously good, while Lightning Helix is important to the mirror. you'll probably want a total of 10 fetches in the list, but as long as they fetch for mountain it's irrelevant which fetch they are.

right on, I can get behind that. Also, what are the rules on modern borders for cards. Can I continue to use my old revised edition bolts or do I have to get the modern bordered ones for it to all be legal?

00xtremeninja: as long as a card has been printed in at least one Modern legal set, you can use any version of it, Modern borders or not. So nope, you won't need to buy a new playset of Bolts.

I'd say to go R/W. Boros Charm and Lightning Helix are great, plus you get all of white's good sideboard cards.
Naya Burn is currently the most powerful iteration of it, and really it just means you need to run more fetchlands and a couple copies of each relevant shockland. There isn't a significant cost difference.
Also as long as a card is modern legal, you can use any version of the card. So feel free to use all your revised bolts.

awesome, thanks for the help folks. I figured that was the case for legality, but wasn't entirely sure.
so sounds like the ultimate run of it would be to go Naya and get the best of both worlds. Welp, time to slowly start building this up. I think I will start with R/G and then add in the white pieces

I have a pretty standard Modern Naya Burn deck. Take a look if you want some ideas.
Didn't see that one coming did ya?! (1st @ fmn)

Nahhh, it's all about Naya. Naya is putting up results.

Naya Burn is fearsome, as described before. I like Atarka's Command and Boros Charm in the mainboard, and Destructive Revelry and Lightning Helix in the sideboard.

You don't run any non-Mountain basics, so you can run literally any red fetches in the deck.
RW is probably better than RG because of Boros Charm, Lightning Helix and sideboard cards, but the only different is Atarka's Command and 2 Stomping Ground.

Destructive Revelry is a really important sideboard card to stop Leyline of Sanctity while keeping people burning.

Go R/G. Wooded Foothills is cheaper than Arid Mesa. Also, you REALLY want to run Atarka's Command and Destructive Revelry. Going Naya is the best, but I think R/G is better than R/W.
