So I want to get into modern but have NO IDEA where to begin or what to use as a main point. I love Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver and feel with her low mana cost and color style that she would be fine in modern, but was not sure how to go about making a dimir deck that is 100% usable and hard to beat. Thanks
Also, for UB control you could check out my buddy's deck. It's not perfect, but it's pretty strong.

Check out this deck.
It combines the powerful synergy of Visions of Beyond with Archive Trap , while disrupting the opponent with Ghost Quarter and other traditional BUG staples. Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver could easily find a home in the deck, since that was posted before Theros was released.

sylvannos, that is probably the BEST modern deck style I have seen (only because it is so cheeky and a mill deck worthy to be played competatively) but I think it needs some tweaking...

Take a look at my dimir style deck for modern (I have a few non modern cards in there right now, the modern cards are on the sideboard that I swap around for casual) Consuming Mill
