can a Blue-Red-Black deck that runs Shadow of Doubt , Trickbind and Molten Rain and then your basic tempo deck around it survive and maybe even do well

Moved to Modern.

It depends on when you're playing those cards. I don't think you'll be able to outpace the decks you need to outpace.

Pyroclasm and Blood Moon/Magus of the Moon along with Tectonic Edge could be super annoying

You could run Spreading Seas to mess with their colors and deal with their Urza lands

LD in modern and mana disruption is seldom played. Except for the afformentioned blood moon. Tectonic Edge and Ghost Quarter see fringe play in decks that have bad tron matchups but thats about it.

Hey man, in my meta that deck would stomp a ton of the competition. There's actually a Boros landfall guy who would lose all his double-triple landfalls because of those cards.

However, your meta may not have a problem. Consider what you'll be playing against.
