...Thoughtseize ? ;)

I personally think that some of the gods will see some play (Primalcrux mono green)

Destructive Revelry will be in any R/G decks sideboard.

The new PWs are shaweet.

But! only time will tell. Need more spoilers.

I'm looking forward to using Omenspeaker with Augury Owl in my Quest for Ula's Temple deck. Doubt it'd make a splash in Modern...but it's nice to have some functional similarity.

Erebos may be a reason to try to make Mono Black Control a thing.

As previously stated, destructive revelry will be in every red or green sideboard competing with Ancient Grudge .

Nothing else really appears to be a set in stone deal yet. I mean, theoretically Erobos is a bamf, but there's much better card drawing engines available to black decks already (mainly Bob).

I expect to see Thassa in Merfolk decks. I don't think it's enough to make it more than a fringe deck since Thassa's abilities aren't that powerful in such a deck, but it'll be interesting to see it in play.

Destructive Revelry will probably get some play, but I suspect only in RG aggro decks, which are still kind of on the fringe too. There are simply already a million other cards to deal with artifacts and enchantments, and this doesn't bring much to the table other than a more restrictive color commitment.

Planeswalkers sometimes have a chance, but I'm not feeling it yet. The new Elspeth is really good and I think will be great in the new slower Standard, but 6 mana is just too much for Modern. Xenagos competes with Domri Rade , who doesn't see much play in Modern. Ashiok's first ability doesn't actually do anything and the second might do nothing, particularly in a format where creature-poor decks exist.

So with OP's "no Thoughtseize " restriction, I don't see anything awesome yet.
