Modern Werewolves, is this a viable option?

I'm interested in building my first modern deck and I got back into the game right around the time Theros released, so I missed out on the whole Innistrad block. Werewolves and vampires are my jam, however I am more interested in starting with a werewolf deck. What cards should I start looking for in order to make something semi competitive? I am already familiar with a few cards such as [c]Huntmaster of the Fells[/c], what else should I be on the lookout for?
@mindablaze! I'm talking FNM modern and you are correct, I do enjoy an aggro to midrange build. I'm currently most familiar with the standard format but I'm more interested in branching to modern. I have little to no experience with the format but it seems incredibly creative and fun with all the cards at your disposal. I guess I could forego the werewolves for something a little less cutesy if it's easier to get started in the format that way.
Standard format is cool enough for me, but I only have interest in the cards that I feel will have a long term presence in the game of Magic. I rather not dump hundreds of dollars into something I can't use in six moths

Under those ideals you can play a naya werewolves with Silence , Fog and Curse of Exhaustion to brick wall your opponent and flip your cards in the right times to gain advantage.

Another fun way to play RG is to go the Liquimetal Coating route. Ancient Stirrings to dig for the LCs and/or lands, Fog works pretty well to slow them down, Ancient Grudge ...
Werewolf Ransacker
Flip
is the particular wolf you'd use. Not only is it a decent beater (although a bit slow) but it burns face when it flips.

Two questions first; Are you talking FNM Modern, kitchen table Modern or tournament Modern and What is your experience with Modern like? Also, judging by the fact you've named a couple tribes I'd assume you lean towards aggro as your playstyle?
Modern is a diverse and powerful format. For a deck to break into the rankings it needs to be prepared to win by turn 4 or 5, and/or have a way to stop your opponent from doing so.
The inherent disadvantage to building a werewolf themed deck for Modern is the fact that you require someone to not be casting spells. In a format where the game is over so quickly that's asking a lot. That being said, I'm sure a midrange or control build using werewolves as a finisher could be possible. I don't think aggro wolves would be fast enough compared to stuff like Affinity
