OGW changes to Tron?

I'm sure everyone has seen Kozilek'sReturn by now:

Been a while since we had a mythic instant, but could this replace Pyroclasm in current tron decks? The second ability is amazing against any midrange strategies and triggers off of a cast so there is no way to stop it. But is the three converted mana cost going to be too much?

Due to its ability to interact with creature lands or respond to a pump spell I think it will make a splash. Probably see a 2/2 split return/Pyroclasm. I'm more interested in Oath of Nissa in Tron to utilize Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker

Darkmagi1131 Now that's interesting. Would Oath of Nissa replace Ancient Stirrings? Kind of the same effect except you can only look through the top three. Not as versatile because it can't grab your chromatics or maps either

Nahhh I cut 1x Pyroclasm, 2x Sylvan Scrying, and 1x Oblivion Stone. The 4x Ancient Stirrings are far too valuable. Here's my current take on it Urza's Descendants the cards from Oath are referenced in the description.

... Duuude. Duuuude. Living the dream of having both Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker and Ugin, the Spirit Dragon on the field.

I put together my own list. Not too convinced of Vraska...

I can understand that. I'm iffy on Varaska too, but I like the fact that having no main decked creatures blanks alot of removal. I'm certainly up for ideas to replace her. It will be interesting to see how yours develops compared to mine.

I replaced her with Wurmcoil. I just think the card is so good it needs to be played.

This card isn't good in Tron because you only play, like, 2 actual Eldrazi in the deck. So most of the time, it's just an overcosted Pyroclasm. And no, it being colorless doesn't make it better; remember that this deck only plays four Ancient Stirrings in the first place.

The card is great, because you nearly always play those 2 eldrazi :), also it doesn't kill your own wurmcoils

Also what do you mean by only 4 Ancient Stirrings....its not like you can play more....@KillDatBUG

Also, I want to see a Utron build with the new kozilek. Its abilities are super powerful and very synergistic, drawing up to 7 and then each of those cards can become a free counterspell? Also its a 12/12 Menace, which is ridiculous

@Darkmagi1131 and EpicFreddi, for your nissa's oath ideas, note that Kozilek's Return only triggers on 7 mana Eldrazi spells.

As a Tron player, yes - i'm going to try out Kozilek's Return in place of Pyroclasm. there's value there for sure.

I think N's Oath is fun, but I don think cutting down on the nuts and bolts that make tron run, is worth the added benefit of running Bolas etc. Tron just wins if it Pyroclasm's into t3 Wurmcoil into t4 Karn. Why make a good thing less consistent?

Oh, i see your point. I'd play like 2 returns anyway because I can find it with stirring and it's instant.

And the only reason why I would play that over the normal tron because fun.

The Big thing with return is that it can interact with Inkmoth Nexus and other creature lands. it can also respond to pump spells and possibly increase your options in the infect match up

Oath is big for Tron decks other than G/R tron. Above all else mono-color, and fully colorless tron decks will see a significant surge. Spatial Contortion, and Warping Wail both provide instant speed colorless interaction which tron has never really had before.
