Rogue Modern Deck Ideas

So, Modern is an open format, full of lots of variety and variance. And im interesting in hearing the TappedOut Communities' rogue deck ideas for Modern!
When I say that, I don't mean Infect or Naya Zoo. Those decks may not show up anymore, but people know about it. I mean things like Bolas Cruel Control or Owl Turbo Fog.
I'd love to hear any and all deck ideas. Thanks guys and happy deckbuilding!

But, well, I don't really know what a rogue deck is so.... However, I think that this deck follows the criteria! :D

Any version of Turbo fog is pretty sick, but they all just lose to burn.
I'm currently working on a Maze's End deck that's faring quite well, but it's facing the same issues as any other fog based deck.
I'm also a fan of off-beat control lists, like Rakdos or mono blue.

Well, you sort of mentioned what I'm working on - Ebony Owl Netsuke but I'm slapping Silence on a stick (Isochron Scepter) and using Eidolon of Rhetoric. Other than that it's a cookie-cutter Modern control shell. Bouncy Hooters.

Mono White Turbofog using Luminarch Ascension as a win con. I can provide a link if requested. What is Owl Turbo Fog? I also just threw together a Simic Delver list, which is pretty rogue-y.

ThatBlueMage Four sideboarded Leyline of Sanctity work well for me with my Turbofog list. And Dawn Charm on an Isochron Scepter is pretty good.

I have a host of rogue decks in modern. My 3 favorite are:
Eternal Bant Command (Cryptic Command
+
Eternal Witness
)
;;; T3Z T00L C0NTR0L ;;; (Chalice of the Void + Engineered Explosives)
Rug Anti-Aggro LIfe (lifegain in rug)
The first two of the decks are remakes of other decks (eternal command + tezzerator control), but the RUG lifegain is just for shits and giggles.
turn 1 Birds of Paradise
turn 2 Courser of Kruphix
turn 3 Huntmaster of the Fells
Flip
turn 4 Thragtusk / control card / misc

Dalektable, Owl Turbo Fog is using Ebony Owl Netsuke as your win con. You let your opponent draw tons of cards with Howling Mine effects (deck is also called "Owling Mine" sometimes) and cast Fog effects every turn until they can't do anything and you win through Owl damage. Modern Turbo Owl was a top deck on here for a few days. My variation is also an example, Bouncy Hooters.

I always had a thing for Enduring Renewal. It was key to my first infinite combo, back during Ice Age (major PITA to put together, it + Fastbond + Living Lands + Zuran Orb
Anywho, when I came back to MTG and started looking into Modern I saw Enduring Renewal was legal. I haven't figured out the best way to really abuse it but there's a plethora of options available. Anything that can abuse recurring creatures really. The link below has the beginnings of a deck that's infinite damage via Blasting Station + Enduring Renewal + Ornithopter .
My first draft had Krark-Clan Ironworks in it for infinite mana so you could either hard cast a Blightsteel Colossus or just Reshape your Ornithopter or Memnite into it. Doing that on top of the blasting station combo took up too much room though and took away from the control part of it to try and keep alive long enough to go off.
But anyways, yeah. Not saying it's a good idea but it's different than what you generally see. Sometime soon I'll have to actually flush out the description with the various interactions, but I'm lazy so not right now.

Treasure Hunt + Lightning Storm combo decks are pretty fun and cost less than $5.
Also I have a fun Heartless Summoning deck that is powerful, it isn't tier 1 but it also doesn't have any really bad match ups except infect. Heartless Myrs of the Brood

Lastly, while certainly not an established archetype yet I'm currently playing
. It's a super well balanced deck. Very unforgiving but extremely versatile. (U need to know ur match ups!) Most of the time this is classified as a "Dredgevine Deck". I'd recommend it to those who can't afford Dark Confidant and Tarmogoyf

APPLE01DOJ It has a lot of potential right? It's just finding the right shell that won't completely falter against most other strategies. I may try to see if it's possible to push it into a UWR control package, I dunno. We'll see

Turn 2: Play Death's Shadow, hopefully leaving open 1 mana for protection effects.
Turn 3: Either swing for 10 and use Rite of Consumption for a fling effect, or swing 9 and use Tainted Strike to get there. Also, use your protection spells for unblockability and shit. :D

SCORE: 12 | 2 COMMENTS | 982 VIEWSand how to make it better. I haven't gotten a chance to play the finished product because I don't have all the cards but as you can tell from the title we have a turn 3 win condition(3 cards plus our tricked out mana base) and we can turn 3 Rakdos, Lord of Riots which is an insane card way above the curve that's hard enough to turn 4. Anyway Rakdos rules boros sucks

Runeflare Combo is a U/R Combo deck with Howling Mine and Temple Bell effects to make your opponent drawultiple cards then kill with Runeflare Trap, Serum Visions and Faithless Looting To dig and the standard Mana Leak and Remand packages.

I've been thinking of a Biovisionary deck for a while. I don't have a deck list but the basic strategy would be Biovisionary + Clone for example or Rite of Replication to win. The rest of the deck would be a basic control shell, or turbo fog because I'm seeing a lot of that..

There's a really funny instant win combo, very quirky. So I built a deck that looks a little like this:
4x Bazaar Trader4x Immortal Coil4x Shred Memory4x Dark Confidant4x Surgical Extraction4x Extirpate4x Pain Seer2x Maralen of the Mornsong4x Bojuka Bog4x Sign in Blood4x Cremate
if you read what those cards do, you'll understand the point of the deck.
The confidants and maralens are there to draw your opponents' removal. I use Bloodstained Mire as my fetches, make sure I have cards in my graveyard for Immortal Coil to come out without killing me. Once it's out, you just donate it over with Bazaar Trader, and if they have cards in their graveyard, get rid of them.
It's certainly very entertaining to see this deck win.
