I came across a card Selective Memory . Are there cards that allow you to put your exiled cards into the battlefield or hand?

the only one I can think of is Misthollow Griffin

the other only application I can think of is filtering, like say if you have primeval bounty and you remove all the instants and sorceries.

You can cast Misthollow Griffin from exile. Pull from Eternity can put exiled cards into your graveyard. Runic Repetition can put an exiled card with flashback into your hand.

It's funny, I was going through only of my binders yesterday and saw Selective Memory and wondered what the heck you'd ever use it for. Misthollow Griffin makes sense, or if for some reason you wanted your deck to be all lands, maybe for Countryside Crusher scenarios but thats pretty extreme. Cleaning your deck out of cards you don't want to draw is about the only thing I can think of that makes any sense. Like if you figured out your opponent doesn't have any creatures so you'd pull out all of the creature removal cards or something like that.

Pull from Eternity , Runic Repetition , and Riftsweeper are among the few cards that can interact with exiled cards.

lol riftsweeper would undo the effects of selective memory. I suppose you could clear your library of cards you may need later but not for the next few turns. Then shuffle them back in when you need them so you're more likely to draw them?

Sometimes a card is Rare not because it's really good, but because the effect is so weird and narrow that only a very small number of players would ever actually want one, and only for very odd and specific purposes. Selective Memory is one of those cards.

the only time I have seen this card really used was albeit not very good but i DID think it was interesting. was with a guy using Laboratory Maniac , and Selective Memory to narrow his deck down. then he comboed with cards like Knight of the Reliquary and Admonition Angel .

In case you were wondering...he didnt win

Selective Memory looks to me like something that could abuse Treasure Hunt the same way Ad Nauseam does with Seismic Assault ...
