I play tron. If you don't know what it does, just imagine that one scene from Stand by me where the boys are running across the bridge from the train, except the kids get annihilated as soon as the train hits the bridge. Sure, you can see the train coming from a mile away, but like, bro you ain't got nuthin to stop that. It's a train, and you is a child.
If you really like double Time Walking your opponent and then dashing all hopes they had for victory in one fell swoop then tron is the deck for you. You ever see a giant eldrazi bro and think 'Dang, I want to hard cast that big mamma jamma'? Then you're in the right place. If you think that Chromatic Sphere is a constructed playable card, you're among friends here. Do you really like to watch pay-per-view wrestling events? Let me introduce you to the tag-team champions, Karn Liberated and Ugin, the Spirit Dragon. Every round of a tournament is basically Vince McMahon's wet dream getting to watch these boys just tear the opponent a new one.
You ever want to cast huge stuff? You ever want to play a control deck but not play blue? You ever want to cantrip a thousand times in one turn then still have enough mana up to cast a planeswalker? You ever want to play a deck that people think insta-scoops to Blood Moon but it actually just doesn't and you get to laugh at those people? You ever lose 19 times to your local jund player and form an everlasting vendetta against the archetype?
If you answered 'yes' to any of these questions, then Tron is likely the deck for you.

So I recently got into good old abzan midrange. My list is similar to this . What I love the most in magic is playing "fair" decks. Why play combo when you can make the combo player rage quit with 7 discard spells. You almost always have a 1-2-3 curve so its very consistent. You get to play with STANDARD ALLSTAR Shambling Vent and you get to play Grim Flayer and Liliana of the Veil and either pitch or discard Lingering Souls and just stare at your opponent with a cheesy grin on your face because you get to cast your card from the graveyard and they cant. Noble Hierarch or Birds of Paradise really speed up the deck and lets be honest playing turn 2 lilly is HOT. Also lets be honest here Lingering Souls is the funniest fucking card in magic. You can cast 3 of them and flash them back and just win in a few turns AND chump block. Mill it? Sure sounds good. Discard it? absolutely the card is freakin nuts. You will never have a more entertaining game of fair magic then with abzan. Hate out your opponents. Make some hilarious plays. Play powerful cards and brag that your deck is almost twice as expensive as every other deck in modern. ENJOY!

Blue black mill, Hedron Crab, Glimpse the Unthinkable, Archive Trap, and more your goal is to mill your opponent out fast and it is my personal favorite because it was my first competitive deck.

Bitterblossom is modern? When did this happen?? is my personal pet deck and I love it. Depending on the hand you can go aggro and kill them turn 3-4 or you can play the grindy game with Bitterblossom and win through inevitability.
There are few things more satisfying that swinging with 10 3/2 flying spirit tokens with lifelink with Sorin, Solemn Visitor and Intangible Virtue on field.
It has good matchup against a lot of the meta decks and goes even against most others. It hard loses to R/G tron though so be wary. It has plenty of life gain from Sorin, Timely Reinforcements, and Vault of the Archangel, and Shambling Vent that it can make it hard to kill you at times. You can churn out chump blockers and with Vault of the Archangel, those chump blockers can kill anyone. Liliana of the Veil churns out pure value with discarding Lingering Souls.
All in all its a really fun deck that I love playing. I'm constantly updating the list and looking to see what can be made better. My sideboard is against a generic meta if you don't know what you'll be against.

With the recent ban nerfing dredge, a lot of players are cutting their number of Grafdigger's Cages down in the side. This is a great future meta for CoCo Spirits as the deck will be able to fly under the radar a little more.
The best parts of spirits? When you fetch Breeding Pool into Noble Hierarch and the opponent is misled into thinking you're playing infect. When you snuff your opponent's entire t2/3 off of a Spell Queller. Hitting double Drogskol Captain off of a Collected Company against a midrange deck when they have a hand full of target removal. Taxing burn with Mausoleum Wanderer by flashing in a spirit. Playing a go-wide evasive plan that cant be boardwiped because of Selfless Spirit.
My list is meant for a burn/ affinity heavy meta. If you see a lot of tron decks just replace 2 fetches with Ghost Quarters to slow them down fast enough for you to win. (you already beat tron unless they resolve ugin anyways this is just an added layer).

I second DevoidMage. Tron is a great deck, and really only as expensive as you want it to be, with lots of variations. Of course the more money you're willing to invest into it, the more of the same cards will be present, but there's always some slots left for personal techs, which is nice. It has elements to interest both Timmys and Johnnys, and is one of the most versatile decks in modern imo. Plus, with Planar Bridge coming soon, it regains the inevitability it once held with Eye of Ugin, meaning it will regain some presence in the format, so now is a good time to buy.

I woulda said Twin, but Splinter Twin's banned.
I woulda said Grixis Delver, but Gitaxian Probe just got banned.
I woulda said Pod, but-
Ah screw it. Just play some stupid fucking deck like Affinity or Burn and collect your free wins. There's no damn point in trying to play anything else that's even remotely fair.

Here's my little brew, Izzet Dragons. You get to practically play counterspell in a modern! You also get to play dragons, which is fun. There is also plenty of room to tweak, and 4x Snapcaster slides in neatly along with any number of Blood Moons you choose to play. The nonlands are also relatively cheap, with roughly 50% of the initial cost for this being the Tarns and Caverns.
It has burn, bounce, counters, and flying beatsticks that are either hard to interact with or punish them for doing so. What more could you want?

Thank you all for your suggestions! There were a lot of neat decks and sweet brews! I have settled on U/B Faeries. It is an archetype I have always loved and I have had some success with on MTGO. I know it is a tier 3 deck but I had to remind myself that the game is truly about having fun and I've had a lot of fun playing Faeries online. Thank you all once again!

Lemme tell you a story. First, there was just one deck, literally hundreds of months ago. Then a lot of stuff happened that nobody really cares about, and then they printed the card Chord of Calling. This is the first magic card that anyone actually should care about. The deck basically writes itself. Play creatures. Lots of creatures. Early game you get to stonewall your opponent. Literally. Play walls. Then block. Block. Block more. Then finally you get to do some "shenanigans" to your opponents. Blindside them with a Chord of Calling right to the kidneys. BAM, Eternal Witness, get that chord right back. BAM, get that Resto and get back that chord. Then block some more. Maybe even swing a little, get crazy, you know. THEN... well then ya just wait until the time is right (the time is now), and windmill-slam an instant-speed chord into an even more instant speed Cheeki Breeki, Dream Crusher and combo them out then and there. The deck is basically a pile of trash with a chord shoved in there to make it good. It makes the aforementioned Jund players cry...

My deck is here: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/10-12-15-bant-zoo/
It's a 4 color aggro/midrange deck designed to commit to the board fast and have the biggest and most efficient aggressive creatures. It's got plenty of late game though in the form of removal, Arlinn Kord Flip, and manlands. It's a blast to play, and also pretty competitive, in my experience.
