Sideboarding Twin

Modern forum

I'm still in the mix of putting together my twin deck and I just want some to know some general rules for what goes in a sideboard and what to side in side out in some typical games. If you all could help, I'd appreciate it. Use a general tempo twin build for an example. My deck is not the template for this question.

Here are some starter questions but aren't limited to these. I want to know everything I should know so fell free to input anything and everything:

1.Why do players play Jace in the the sideboard? Just for the -1/0 for the mirror, or for the search and for what decks does it come in? 2. What to side in against burn? A bunch of counters? Or a Batterskull as well? anything else? Do I side out the combo?3. What to side in and out against the mirror?4. How to handle enchantments like Ghostly Prison? Just with Engineered Explosives? I run 3 Ancient Grudge but have been thinking about taking one out for a Nature's Claim. 5. How often do I side out the combo? 6. Is Keranos, God of Storms a must? 7. What are some must have cards for the sideboard?8. Anything else you can think of...

Thanks, everyone!

I know nothing about twin specifically but I do know that Jace's -1/-0 ability is infuriating when you have Lingering Souls.

It also draws cards. The ultimate (pun intended) tool against Abzan.

Against Burn, Negate and Dispel come in. That's really it, unless you also have Batterskulls.

Side out the combo against Abzan, and a couple Twins in any really grindy/blue matchup.

Don't expect Ghostly Prison. No one will play it. Cryptic Command is a sweet answer though.

Thanks for the responses on Jace, GlistenerAgent and ChiefBell. I've been debating putting him in. Now that I know he's useful against multiple decks, he's a for sure in.

Yeah, I think I've only came across Ghostly Prison once and I really wanted Cryptic Command. I wasn't sure if there were any other enchantments I needed to worry about.

What decks do I leave the combo in against?

Not entirely sure about that one. Take a couple pieces out against any blue deck. Everything comes out against Abzan/Decay decks.

Keep it in when your opponent is a lot faster than you. Burn, Affinity, Infect, etc. all really can't be beat with just the beatdown.
