Slaughter Games in Burn Sideboard?

There's a lot of players that play twin at my local game store. A good card to combat twin is Slaughter Games. My question is, is it viable to run Slaughter Games in the sideboard of I splash black. I never see it in other decks and it looks like the biggest problem I see is it costing four mana.

Slaughter Games does nothing against Twin. Absolutely nothing. Combust is the better choice if anything, but really your best and most versatile option is Destructive Revelry.

It's too slow. Torpor Orb, Illness in the Ranks, Spellskite, and Rakdos Charm are just a few of your options.

GlistenerAgent I sided in 4 Destructive Revelrys against them and they just countered them every time. They played very heavy control well. Slaughter Games would take out Splinter Twin but you're right that Combust is much better. Faster and I don't have to add black. I'm thinking take out my 3 Path to Exile for 3 Combust? Or should I run four?

I've been dabbling adding a Spellskite to the sideboard. More for the mirror but it would work for twin too. But that can be countered.

I'd run a mix of Combust and Spellskite. Combust is just wonderful against Twin and can also kill Siege Rhino if you really need it to. However, Spellskite can mess with Burn, Bogles, Infect, Twin, plus it can be a good blocker. Combust is perfect for your Twin matchups, but Spellskite hits more problem matchups.

Thanks, lemmingllama! YOu have made my decision easy. I'm going to also run Spellskite on top of Combust. i think I'm going to replace Kor Firewalker with Spellskite. I don't use the kor that often and if you think about it, taking 2 life is the same as the kor's liafegain ability. He just wont't gain me life for my spells or be able to attack. I've been pondering it for a really long time but haven't seen any support for it anywhere. Can you check out my deck and see if it looks right to you?
