Idk if there is love for Slippery Bogle but Reid duke is the man! He played really well and made the deck look easy to play.

1/1 hexproof for 1, its Gladecover Scout where you can use blue mana, love it, never knew it existed before.

Hardly that impressive. He just made the correct meta choice, correctly guessing UWR and Jund were going to dominate, which Bogle decks excel against.

Darkhorse, you don't think making a correct meta choice on that level (Something the other 15 obviously didn't do) is impressive in and of itself? And I don't know if you even watched the matches, but his playing was impressive as well. Get over yourself.

I just lost to that deck today when someone was playing it. Really difficult to beat if you don't have the sideboard for it.

I cringed upon seeing that it did so well, because now there will be that many more people choosing to pick it up to play games of non-Magic whether it's good for them or not. Which is in a way fine, since combo decks beat it about the head and send it home crying, but still.

I have much respect for Reid Duke, and I agree that it was a wonderful metagame choice. Don't let that fool you into thinking the deck is good outside a 16-person tournament containing only the best in the world.

they struggle against jund or decks that run Liliana of the Veil . watching the games against josh utter layton were way closer then they looked.
