So, a Slivers deck made 5th place at a SCG Modern event, here. Whoa...

Collected Company looks to be gaining steam. Jund made an appearance or two. Interesting.

Yeah I know. Two placements I believe, in recent events.

Fun deck!

I am so glad I picked up a playset of Collected Company when it was ~$5.

Yeah. I knew this was going to happen as soon as i saw the anafenza thing happen. The elf variant is pretty brutal too

That's... interesting.

Elf Company looks really interesting, actually.

I wonder if this means more folks are going to play Slivers? I mean, it took a great pilot to Top 8, but is it a great deck?

I don't think so. It is getting some good pieces, but piloting slivers is pretty hard, especially when it comes to building the right deck.

All aboard the Disdainful Stroke train. Counters everything these days. Delve spells, Rhinos, Company, Twin, Cryptic...

"Disdainful Stroke your Birthing Pod" was a sweet line just before the banning.

Slivers in modern? Haha I like the sound of that. I've always had a fondness for slivers.

GlistenerAgent As it turns out, Flashfreeze hits all the things you don't want, too.

Tasigur, Fish, and Cryptic aren't hits, but I do like a Flashfreeze.

Disdainful stroke does miss a lot more than it hits though.

Like it hits several very important cards but misses many more important cards.
