Last format I wanted to make it but I was kinda late and it was quite an investment now at days I have trades and moneys been showing up more this time around. How do u guys think last formats rum deck would do against the modern meta?

It was stormbreath, polukranos, domri rade, courser, kiora.
Basically a temur deck. But before temur existed

Also I don't think that a standard femur deck would do well in modern which is regarded by most as a turn 4 format

The closest decks in modern that are Temur or RUG, are scapeshift which is tier 1-1.5 and Rug delver tier 1.5-2

Generally rum decks play fairly well in modern. Plus, there's tons of variants: coconut rum, black rum, clear rum, mango rum, spiced rum, etc etc. Flooding the board with that many pirates will give you a huge tempo advantage. If you're really good, you could sell your decks film rights to Disney and make millions.

Cuz any deck that can have goyf smushed in usually does sooner or later lol

Basically what Jay said, any deck that can cram goyf into it eventually does a lot of the time. The green splash though has given them access to stuff like Ancient Grudge out of the sideboard which is actually pretty big.
More on topic, the really good decks in the top tier playing RUG is basically just Tarmo-Twin and Scapeshift. If neither of them tickle your you could always try the old Eternal Command list that played basically RUG Midrange with AEther Vial to create a soft lock using Eternal Witness and Cryptic Command

Temur Midrange is ok, the real issue is that you need to run ways to deal with the aggressive decks, combo decks, and control decks without diluting your own gameplan. Tarmo-Twin is probably the closest to this, because it's a Twin deck that also has one hell of a value plan.
Also just to mention, it's Modern Masters, not Monsters

Jay and iLikeDirt: Tarmotwin is a really decent deck. What the deck does essentially is give you two options: use removal on the combo and be beaten to death by goyf, or use removal on goyf and die to the combo. It's a really clever move actually. By including more win conditions they really test the opponents resources. It's not just a gimmick - it's pretty smart.
IndepenentMeta - RUG isn't commonly seen in modern partly because the large creatures in R and G want you to tap out in your own turn but the U trickery (counterspells and card draw) wants you to keep mana open for the opponents turn. Its a deck of opposing philosophies which is hard to manage. However, it does give you access to both Snapcaster Mage and Eternal Witness which gives you A LOT of recasting value. You can get like 3 casts fairly easily from a single Cryptic Command - once from hand, then again from hand due to Eternal Witness, then again from flashback with Snapcaster Mage. SO. MUCH. VALUE.
vishnarg, FinchFalcon - kindly avoid trolling or shitposting.

Yea I mean I believe that it's a good deck, it just peeves me that like every deck wants goyf haha. Which is to say, I can't afford goyf.
