Thoughts on Savor the Moment

I'm wondering if anyone's tried using Savor the Moment, and their results. I'm picturing it in a Young Pyromancer/Monastery Mentor style storm-ish deck, but I don't know how to build those decks well enough to test it. Early game it can potentially be a 3 mana blue Explore, which I recognize isn't great, but it can help you get enough mana to go off against fairer decks. Late game it's a cantripping Burst of Speed for a turn where you make a bunch of tokens, letting you win on the spot. Essentially, I'm thinking of it as a card that gives a decent amount of flexibility and sometimes steals wins while staying in blue, but I don't know if it's just too clunky. If anyone else has tried to use it outside of Sword of Feast and Famine style untap decks input would be appreciated.

I have seen Savor in modern only once: In a Fires of Invention taking turns deck that sparked for a minute after Eldraines release and then petered out.
As a fair spell it's pretty mediocre, since things don't untap you don't get your additional combat phsase and pyromancer decks are usually light on lands. 3 mana is surprisingly hard to get any vaule of of mostly because you have already played most of the lands you drew. In any deck with tons of lands in it you probably already have Uro/Growth Spiral/Explore and don't need the extra copy.

Mostly a card for the Walker piles and Fires Piles, maybe some other extra turn shenanigans or something silly with Panoptic Mirror?

Or in an epic spell deck like:
Panoptic Mirror imprinted with Savor the Moment and then resolve Eternal Dominion?
Would be sick in a big EDH pod game. Infinite turns and just grab everyone's land and creatures until you have a game win in play and finish them off.

Interesting card! Good find! I wonder if it could be used in a Jhoira of the Ghitu deck, for an extra upkeep--kinda like an extra Paradox Haze
