Has anyone seen Trading Post in a modern tournament? I'm thinking of building one since I now have my Wurmcoil Engine s, Solemn Simulacrum s, and Karn Liberated to compliment them

It uses some of the cards mentioned in the previous post.

I've seen the deck in Standard before SOM block rotated. I just wondered if anyone has seen it in a tournament and noticed whether or not it did well
It seems like a "durdle" deck that gives people fits as they don't see certain things before they happen :)

I play tested the above deck, and was pleased with it. It plays really fun and can lock down a game.

4 mana is a lot for something that has a slow and minimal effect on the game in the later turns of a game in modern. I could see it in some control deck maybe but its not worth the mana investment in modern.

With all the other cards you just listed, you have everything you need to play Mono-Blue Tron in Modern. You just need the commons and uncommons (Expedition Map , Chromatic Star , etc.).

Trading Post is only good in modern if there are good mana rocks in the format to speed it up. The fact that it costs 4 means that you have to be a dedicated control deck on top of running a plethora of artifacts to compliment it.

I have seen a monoblack post deck, you use
Ichor Wellspring
Mycosynth Wellspring
and other artifacts.
