Viability of Bloom Titan

Modern forum

Posted on March 15, 2014, 3 p.m. by He_Who_Seizes_Thoughtseize

I'm thinking about jumping into the Modern format soon and one of the decks that stood out the most to me was Bloom Titan. How viable would you say this deck is? I don't plan on going to any major events any time soon, just wanting to build a fun deck to introduce myself to the format and hopefully do somewhat okay in some small local events.

Thanks!

It is pretty powerful when it draws good, but it is fragile and just sits awkwardly if you don't have the amulet in play or if it gets blown up

It's a very bad deck that tends to just lose if you don't have a good hand. If you do have a good hand then you can win turn 2 and most decks in the format can't do anything about it. Sometimes the deck is good, sometimes the deck is terrible. It's very fragile.

In EVE we call it a "glass cannon"

Very fragile, but also very good.

Any results posted by Matthias Hunt are automatically suspect in my mind, I would take them with a grain of salt.

Droxium: Can't say that I don't like him. I've never met him.

Sorry, i miswrote what i said. You said that (or at least how i perceive as) Matthias Hunt is somebody not to be trusted. To clarify my question, why is Matthias suspect in your mind to give out false results?
