Werewolves - like Ulvenwald Mystics
Flip - transform (or not transfrom) if:
- 1(/2) spells have been cast last turn
- by the same player
What options are in modern to not cast spells, but otherwise cheat them in to play, like with AEther Vial?
What options exist to deny spell casting from player?
Is there a way to replace cast effect with something like "players can't cast spells, any player may put in play permanents with mana cost equal to or less than -insert variable here-"?
For things that put creatures directly from your hand on to the battlefield there's Elvish Piper, Quicksilver Amulet, Garruk, Caller of Beasts and Braids, Conjurer Adept but they're designed and costed in such a way that putting a Werewolf into play with them instead of an Emrakul, the Aeons Torn is a waste.
Soul Foundry, Mastery of the Unseen, Whisperwood Elemental, Call of the Wild, Call to the Kindred all let you get creatures into play without casting them and provide card advantage, which is probably a better angle to go for, although they are all still pretty heavy on the mana requirements.

One route is to use bloodrush and evoke as they are considered creature abilities. I have a mostly-werewolf deck that uses Ghor-Clan Rampager and Shriekmaw. They both synergize with Domri Rade and Fauna Shaman

Uh, dahhahm, Evoke is an alternate casting cost, so you are still technically casting them. Bloodtush is an ability, though.

So Trinisphere is the only realistic option in modern to reduce the numbers of spells cast by opponents in modern?

Oh thanks, i hadn't realized that. That's a good catch!

While I am not sure if the effects you are looking for exist outside of White with cards like Silence, you might want to look into a Trinisphere / Chalice of the Void / Blood Moon soft-lock to protect all of your creatures.
