What about mana ramping's evil cousin?

Everyone loves a little bit of mana ramping here and there, but what about ramping's evil cousin -- destruction? I'm looking to delve into a deck themed wholly around land removal/destruction. So I figured I'd come to my favorite internet hub of magic dilettantes and see what we can come up with.
Let's keep the cards modern since we are in the modern thread, and see what monsters, as well as spells, we can think up that have the capacity to remove your opponents lands from the game.
Fulminator Mage Tectonic Edge Ghost Quarter are probably the best land destruction in modern

I agree with the guy above me, Sun Titan is awesome for bringing back the stuff he named, there's also Life from the Loam , Crucible of Worlds to bring back your bomb lands, there's Oracle of Mul Daya and Azusa, Lost but Seeking to help ramp you into Acidic Slime ! a guy in my meta built something he called junk slime and it was all about using Restoration Angel and Unburial Rites to over abuse the slimes, but this was for standard, no telling how you would change it up if you could put it out to modern

Well I'm thinking a red/green deck. With my starting cards being Deus of Calamity Demolish and Bramblecrush . Maybe some Zhur-Taa Druid for the early mana/damage help.

Plow Under is probably one of the nicest cards you can use - it sets them back two lands and ensures that they won't draw any threats for the next few turns!

Roiling Terrain , Seismic Spike , Spreading Algae are my suggestions

You could do naya ramp, it seems to me that it's your best bet to have between recursion, ramp, and land destruction

You could try to do the land control route. Blood Moon and Burning Earth come to mind. Somehow play a deck where you can give the opponent your creatures? Give them Cosmic Larva .
Other land destruction cards are Thoughts of Ruin and Wildfire . Good with Crucible of Worlds .

Er, didn't read Cosmic Larva well enough, scratch that idea.

Play Living End. LD, plus a nice combo, and a deck that you can tune to any meta with only 75 cards. Here is my version, Living End of your life V2.0. It's nice to know you can go to an event and walk the tables beforehand to tune your deck while only bringing 75 cards with you. You get 3 differnet LD cards in Beast Within , Fulminator Mage , and Avalanche Riders . The last two can be brought back with Living End and used again to keep your opponent off of their gameplan.

I wouldn't be upset if an admin moved this thread to "deck help," since that's probably where I should have posted this in the first place... lol
