what boardwipe to use in control

Ok so im playing UWR control at my local game store and i dont know what boardwipe to use Wrath of God or Supreme Verdict you see Supreme Verdict semes good in that it cant be countered, but the Wrath of God kill Thrun, the Last Troll and all the other regenerate creatures. Supreme Verdict cant be countered but it just seems that board wipe isnt needed against deck that can counter anyway. What do you think????
Well, it depends...
If you are going to be facing lots of Thruns, then go with Wrath. If not, then go with surpreme :) Do you know your meta, and they SB cards?

It depends on the deck and your meta. If you are having problems with Thrun, the Last Troll, then use Wrath of God. If you are getting countered, run Supreme Verdict. If you can't get the colors for one, then try out the other. There is no set answer for this question.

PValBlanc i am currently running wrath because now that delver is pretty gone since the banning of Treasure Cruise you know not all gone but significantly changed the only problem would be UWR midrange with Geist of Saint Traft but that's why i have Pyroclasm and Anger of the Gods thanks for help :)

Although I'll admit to answering too quickly here, I'll have to agree with raven and llama, there's nothing like knowing your meta.

No one will play Delver any more, so Wrath of God is the better choice. You should have access to some Anger of the Gods, though, as it is cheaper and relevant against Voice of Resurgence and Scavenging Ooze, which, yes, people will still play.

Wrath of god. All the way. You pointed out the whole boardwipes aren't really useful against decks likely to counter them (with the exception of, perhaps, Delver). And really, wrath is so much easier to cast than verdict. And seeing as how boardwipes are typically a panic button, it hurts to lose a game with a wipe you can't cast in your hand.
