What kind of deck would Sword of the Meek be in if unbanned?

Hey all
Earlier today, a few friends and I started talking about the Modern banlist. Sword of the Meek is the on that drew the most questions. In the end, we were split between two possibilities of what would happen:
A) It would slot into existing control decks with Thopter Foundry as a way to stabilize and win late-game
B) A new combo deck would form around the interaction between it and Thopter Foundry
What are the general feelings of the TappedOut community?

It would likely be a control deck with that combo as as finisher, likely very similar to Twin decks but in different colors.

I would put it in a control deck. probably Esper alongside Lingering Souls and the like.

Definitely not a new combo deck. I'm pretty sure Foundry was the reason that card was banned in the first place, but yea it would just bring out that deck in full force if unbanned.
It's a pretty fun deck to play in legacy I'll say though, but probably pretty oppressive in Modern if let free.

Thopter Foundry aka probably the reason it was banned to begin with... That is all. I've seen those combo off together in commander it was funny and amazing but dear god it sucked. All you'd need is a way to make a ton of mana.

There is no "Probably" when it comes to thopter foundry, that is expressly the reason it was banned. A 2 card combo that equates to "Pay (1), Gain 1 life and get a 1/1 Flyer" for a measly cost of 4 mana, or 2 mana and self milling it into the grave. I was very unhappy when it was banned, as it was my main Modern deck at the time, lol. Also goes infinite with any of 2 other modern cards; Time Sieve and Thopter Assembly.

Sorry, for clarity, the combo goes infinite with 5 mana and time sieve. Time Sieve also goes infinite with Thopter Assembly. Lol, terrible wording on my first post :P

So, if Sword of the Meek were unbanned, how viable would Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas control be as an archetype? Would it be fast and competitive enough to beat Twin, Burn, Affinity, Abzan Midrange, Bloom Titan, etc?

The thing with Thopter Sword is that it can be added to pretty much any control shell without needing backup. Hence almost any control with it would be able no doubt be able to counter Twin, the lifegain would screw burn, not sure about Affinity but if it got online fast enough it could probably chump all day long, Abzan Midrange wouldnt be able to swing through the thopters either. Bloom Titan would probably be its worst match-up, but it was not a deck back when I played Thopter Sword so idk. Just my opinion here, because the format looks nothing like what it did back when it was playable, so all my info is pretty dated.

UB Tezzerator would become a real deck I guess.
