What to play? (tournament meta)

The modern community in my home town has grown a TON and i'm heading back from college this friday.
The meta is a 3-4 Abzan, 2-3 UR Twin, 2 storm, 2 grixis delver, 1 tron, and 1 affinity. I would also expect to see a merfolk and living end list.
My choices of deck are BUG Control like Gerard Fabiano's list. (I am not sure if I can link it in this post)
OR
Abzan with Noble Hierarch in the main.
I like control for the wider meta, and I really want to continue playtesting my new build. But I am more experienced with abzan, and my favorite way to fight Lingering Souls is with Lingering Souls.
What do you guys suggest? I am most worried about BUG versus the other Abzan players. Maybe sideboard options?

Based on that meta Abzan. Tron is your only bad match up. Make sure you're packing all 8 Thoughtseize in you're 75 & pack the rest of your SB with Land Destruction. Maybe 1x Sword of Light and Shadow and a Obstinate Baloth or 2.

Hey guys, thanks for the suggestions. My only worry is playing a bunch of mirrors with Abzan. I wasn't considering it earlier, but little kid junk with a combo and land hate sideboard could be good.
Otherwise I'm leaning towards BUG.

Play Junk. I just tested your deck against my Junk build and despite the game going on to round 8 or so you couldn't cast that Thragtusk I advised you not to run until I Path to Exiled your Tasigur, the Golden Fang to swing for lethal with a Goyf. The Damnation in your build was a life savor verses a field of Siege Rhinos.
I mean your deck puts up a good fight and certainly can win against some of the decks you listed but it'll have a very uphill battle. You really need to either add in 2 more lands to make Thragtusk castable or just drop it in favor of something else. If you are going to face 3-4 Abzan decks then just MB 2x Obstinate Baloth instead of Thragtusk.
Id highly advise running Junk with a Mana Hate SB & Sword of Light and Shadow still. ...or at least test & test the match up until you have it in the bag.

In all seriousness tho, I actually happen to be a huge fan of Fabiano-esque lists, provided they metagame properly. SB the right tech, and you should be able to do quite well.
I'd reccomend a couple of Disfigure in the SB at least, if that's your meta. It all depends on what you have in the mainboard, obviously. The Abzan matchup may be tough, but you're golden against a lot of the other decks. BUG control can take Twin apart pretty handily if the pilot knows what he's doing.
