Which modern deck do you think I should build?

I have decided to build a new modern deck that's more competitive than my first modern deck, a hatebear build. I have been thinking of building affinity or storm but I don't know how good they are in this new meta. And I don't want to build a abzan or a splinter twin deck. But maybe you can change my mind.
Anyways, all help is appreciated, thanks.
I think affinity is solid. It's just a tough deck to play. My friend played it and there are so many times where you could see steam billowing out his ears trying to do all the mathematic possibilities when it comes down to win now or die mode.
As a previous poster mentioned. Infect is strong right now and I've found you can probably get away with making a relatively budgeted build

Affinity is a really really good deck. Having said that selesnya hate ears should be a pretty decent deck right now.

Affinity is always fine to build. It's only bad when people are packing too much hate in their board.

What level do you want to play at? Affinity is a good deck, but if you only want to be competitive at a fnm level there are numerous decks you can play, and still compete.

BW tokens is a well positioned deck right now. Not many hate cards against the deck right now. Thoughtseize and other disruption spells like Inquisition of Kozilek, and Tidehollow Sculler can really put you ahead in a lot of matchups. These are basically the best counterspells in the meta right now. The deck itself makes a good portion of removal in the meta game useless. The event deck is a great shell to build the deck with, building a better manabase and adding in Thoughtseize and a few other spells gets you a great deck.

@ChiefBell "Hate ears" - lol
@ConBurnMadManWell I'm not into BW tokens atm, anyways I still think the deck is decent.
@kintighd when I took my hatebear deck to fnm I lost hard, so I want something that can compete against my meta better. And I might want to take this new deck to some sort of tournament but far from a pro tour or so.

I like Affinity-ish but there are so many answers game 2 and 3. INfect and BW tokens are good, but I like soul sisters as well. All of these are fairly budget options.

what does everyone here think of jeskai asendancy and jeskai midrange? are they viable atm?

Midrange isn't bad, but you have to go all in and it is rather expensive. Geist of Saint Traft is good against Abzan. Greatnate on youtube has some good UWR midrange videos if you want to check him out.
Ascendancy is not good without Treasure Cruise. It just doesn't click. Storm is better and even that is in a bad position atm.

Secondly, both Ascendancy and Jeskai midrange aren't very well positioned. Right now I would say that Burn or Affinity would be your best bets, they are linear aggro decks that are also exceedingly strong. Both of them will never be banned, and the cards are relatively cheap (other than Goblin Guide and Mox Opal, plus maybe fetches for Burn)

Personally I love Bloom Titan.
Beware of affinity, I'm not saying not to play it, it's an extremely good deck, just get LOTS of practice in before you do any serious play. Affinity has so many lines of play you really need to get them down before you do anything with them.

Playtest both. You may not like how playing Affinity feels.

Affinity, or robots, is weird as hell. It sound simple; play spells, attack, ignore your own life total, win. But it's really difficult to play well, especially against boarded in hate, and has all sorts of quirks and math you have to deal with. I would rank it as difficult to play as legacy dredge.

@lemmingllama Thanks!
Well, I inspected uwr midrange and it looked sweet, although as you say it's not the a super strong deck atm. But I have decide, it will be affinity or jeskai midrange, going to playtest some and see how affinity is. And thanks everyonge for your input!

I believe Affinity is an incredibly good choice, Wait until MM2 for a reprint of Etched Champion and possibly more.
It always has a chance to do well, And in specific metagames it can dominate, Playing against it is tough.

bijschjdbcd as I said I decided that I should play affinity or jeskai midrange, And etched champion is not the thing I want them to reprint, its mox opal I want to see in mm2

I listed a card that is 100% confirmed.
The speculation is relevant to the topic.
I suggested Affinity as it is relevant to every metagame where Jeskai is not.

Bloom titan is amazing but very very very difficult to play,I've been playtesting a bloom titan deck I built on forge so I can get the hang of it before I built it and it WILL piss you off lol

I may be a bit biased here due to my love of UWR Geist Midrange but I really think that it could do well.

Storm isn't well positioned right now, much to my dismay, but Affinity is probably still a strong aggro deck. Infect & Burn seem to be better right now, but given your choices, I'd go Affinity if you're wanting to win.
