So i was thinking, that maybe Whisperwood Elemental could be a one of maybe in G/W hatebears against control, they try to boardwipe and in response sac your dude to manifest everyone

Boros charm would necessitate playing red though, i do see what you're saying with faoth's reward but its mostly just an idea. Its another 4/4 body that spits out 2/2's at least

It's a neat possibility to test with, but I think Thrun, the Last Troll is the better option for resilience.

Honestly as a Hatebears player boardwipes aren't generally a problem. I do however play a Naya variant so I have a lot of hate for them casting small spells that control with cards like Eidolon of the Great Revel, Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, Voice of Resurgence. Really the biggest thing vs control is not to over commit to the board. The only reason you should ever commit a bit more than needed vs control decks is if you have Gaddock Teeg on the field and still then you should be using your aether vials to bring in cards end of turn. Mind mainboard Domri Rade helps a lot vs control if it resolves as I can just draw into more and more threats.
At 5 mana Whisperwood just doesn't hit the board fast enough.

Possibly a one-of in the sideboard, and even then, I'd think there are better options to play against wipes, like Boros Charm or Faith's Reward.
