So, I was looking at my Scapeshift deck, and I realized that the deck plays 29 instants and sorceries. This reminded me of UR Delver decks, and so I decided to try Young Pyromancer in the deck over Sakura-Tribe Elder, electing to run more Farseek to maximize the card. It tested somewhat poorly, as it seemed to always turn on my opponent's dead removal spells. What are your thoughts?
I see why you're thinking about Young Pyromancer in a Scapeshift shell, but I have the feeling that it ties your mana up in a way you don't want. Scapeshift wants all/most of your Mountains in your deck, while Young Pyromancer needs a Mountain to even be cast. It puts undue pressure on the deck to both hide it's Mountain and need one on T2 for Pyro.
IDK why, but your idea reminds me of Gush/Young Pyromancer. But it's not like the Vintage Gush/Young Pyromancer deck where the islands are just going back into your hand (plus ABUR duals > RAV shocks), and Gush replaces itself. It's an interesting idea, but I feel it puts undue stress on the deck.

It might be ok to sideboard in for game 2, since they will side out their removal. Still, it doesn't really fit the theme of the deck, so it would only be useful against aggressive decks.

@TurboFagoot That was my exact thought process, but I went for it anyway. :)
@JWiley129 You don't need to hide the Mountains. It's completely fine to draw a couple. Hell, the deck plays a reasonable amount of red spells.

In Scapeshift, I can't imagine wanting a card game 1 that doesn't cantrip, ramp, or kill my opponent with a combo. (I.E. Scapeshift) Pyromancer seems bad.
