I want your opinions, what are the best green pauper EDH cards?
It was reprinted as a common in Modern Masters.

I'd rather go with Garruk's Companion as a trampler for 2 mana if you're using all basic forests in mono-green.

Are you looking for the commons (to go in the deck) or for an uncommon (to have as the commander/general)?

heuertag I have a deck assembled, and I was looking more for common support cards.

It's gotta be Pelakka Wurm . Or ol' swagtusk. He's only $2.50 now that he's out of standard.

There's a variant of Pauper that some people play that simply limits every card to a maximum cash value regardless of rarity, which sounds like a horrible idea to keep track of, since the obviously superior method of play probably involves using cards a close to that max value as possible. I assume that's what KingSorin was talking about.

Sorry I didn't reply until now... I have a few ideas, but they depend on the kind of deck... certain cards are good in small creature/token based decks, and not so good in decks aiming to get big guys out - and green is good at both of those things lol.
But i will list some here anyways:
Run of the mill mana-dorks (Arbor Elf , Llanowar Elves , Fyndhorn Elves , Elvish Mystic , etc...)
Pump spells: Aspect of Hydra , Chorus of Might (better if playing with many creatures), Giant Growth , Groundswell , Might of the Masses (better if playing with many creatures), Phytoburst , Rancor , and Vines of Vastwood to name a few of the better ones
Random good common creatures: Imperiosaur and Garruk's Companion (undercosted), Deadly Recluse and Ambush Viper (deathtouch is nice), Essence Warden (helps you sustain and really good in token decks), Ezuri's Archers (pretty nice to have the ability to block decent sized flying creatures), Ivy Lane Denizen (permanent pumps - even better in a token deck but good pretty much everywhere as long as u have creatures), Krosan Drover (useful if you're trying to cast fatties), Nessian Asp (monstrosity is a good 1-time mana dump), Slaughterhorn (decent body or good pump spell), Snake of the Golden Grove (just seems like it would be good in pauper edh - it's either a very large creature or you get some life - both good), Taunting Elf (helps push through an alpha strike), Vitalize , Wildheart Invoker (great late-game mana dump, especially if you have a lot of mana production).
Well that ended up being a far bigger list than i expected but hopefully there are a few ideas for you to try in there
Devonin says... #2
Krosan Tusker
Mold Shambler
Yavimaya Elder
all come to mind off the top of my head. Any of the "one in play one in hand" land fetches like Cultivate and Kodama's Reach
