Dual lands vs. basics

Virtually all dual lands in Pauper enter tapped. Are there any guidelines on basic lands that enter untapped against dual lands that enter tapped? I assume that faster decks and decks closer to mono-color want want more untapped lands, and slower decks and decks with a more even color split want more reliable color versatility. How much does speed matter in Pauper, and how many dual lands are recommended for any given deck?

Basically, you can choose lands that maximize the efficiency of other cards in your deck.

The Ravnica bounce lands (Boros Garrison et al) can be good when you're using Faithless Looting or similar effects since it puts a card into your hand.

If you're maximizing Skred you want snow basics and the Kaldheim snow duals.

The Bridges from Modern Horizon 2 help you maximize Galvanic Blast and Deadly Dispute.

Control decks may want the gain lands to offset aggro.

Also don't forget Ash Barrens and even Evolving Wilds if you're putting Brainstorm into your deck.

Sofiachloe While that's good information, I was specifically asking about the best proportion of basic to nonbasic lands in a Pauper deck. I did give it kind of a vague title, but I intended the context to be in the question.
