format similar to pauper based on price

Such a format exists to say no cards over 10$... also have sub formats for standard, mod,leg? i want a format that keeps the elitist 1000$ net decks out basiclly.

Not a sanctioned format, but you can just play casually with friends, if that was a real tournament format there would still be the best decks and cards would be driven up in value like $4-5 pauper commons

what he said. sadly theres no real way around that, though there are always janky standard and modern decks that can be thrown together for like a hundred bucks. if you dont feel like breaking bank to play magic, then just steer clear of legacy and vintage and you'll be fine.
