i'm still relatively unfamiliar with pauper, so i'd appreciate help with the sideboard. i know what to watch out for when playing Tron in Modern, but i'm not sure what decks in pauper have a mainboard advantage against Tron.

PhyrexianGameplay my decklist is in the forum post. my sideboard has multiple cards for getting creatures from my grave back to my hand. Mnemonic Wall would mean taking out a big eldrazi and having less win conditions. it also doesn't have many meaningful targets. the only instants or sorceries i use in the mainboard are Scour from Existence , Crop Rotation , and Ancient Stirrings . with the wall costing 5, i likely already have my lands assembled, making it pointless to get back Crop Rotation , and getting back Ancient Stirrings to dig for a threat is pointless when the Wall could have just been a threat to begin with. plus the deck is already in 2 colors. no room for a 3rd.

Probably, instead of grapple with the past, you should play a combination of Red Elemental Blast and Pyroblast , because your deck seems to not be great against control. Also, I would suggest playing snow-covered basics and Arcum's Astrolabe as both fixing and a cantrip.

PhyrexianGameplay: Grapple with the Past is used against land destruction and creature removal. it also gets back creatures that have been countered, so it helps against control. with as few basics are in the deck, Arcum's Astrolabe would likely be a dead card. it can't be cast off mana floated by a Chromatic Star or Chromatic Sphere .

decks that can answer an 8/8 consistently are probably good against your deck. I'd have to see the list to be sure what your tron build looks like, and what cards could be good against it, but basically, if they can answer an 8/8 you need to sideboard against that. I would suggest going into blue though, as you get Mnemonic Wall loops then.
