14 NEW Cards to add to our Pauper decks...looks a few decent ones!
Foil
Moan of the Unhallowed
Offalsnout
Slum Reaper
Arena Athlete
Molten Birth
Reckless Wurm
Sparkspitter
Groundskeeper
Miming Slime
Canker Abomination
Dimir Guildmage
Fire / Ice
Vessel of Endless Rest
I'm looking forward to using Miming Slime, Reckless Wurm, Foil and Moan of the Unhallowed (not many Pauper cards that can make 2/2 Zombies!). Do you think any of these downshifted cards will improve your decks? or inspire new ones?
SynergyBuild Im going to try Moan of the Unhallowed here: A Bigger, Blacker D*ck. With Dark ritual it's a turn 2 play...very good value in Pauper. As far as it being a competitive deck...I don't know.

I feel like Groundskeeper is kind of a big deal. Personally though, the jank-enthusiast in me is excited to see Molten Rebirth, just to have some fun with. =]
I also think Arena Athlete and Foil could see some play, here and there.

Groundskeeper could make my golgari Poopship Destroyer deck better.

I've been trying to make a Mono-Blue control deck work (Pauper has access to a stupid amount of Legacy control staples, e.g. Daze, High Tide, Ponder, Brainstorm, etc.), but so far wincons have been a hit and a miss, which is a shame considering how powerful Foil is, practically giving Pauper it's own Force of Will.

I think Dimir Guildmage will have a nice spot in the Sideboard of my Mono Black Control. It might even push Cuombajj Witches out of the main deck (though I doubt it). But it pads out devotion for Gray Merchant of Asphodel, and it attacks the hand for longer games.

So RG Madness is going to be better with Reckless Wurm, Izzet Delver will be stupid with Fire / Ice. I wonder if zombie tribal can be a deck?
