WotC finally came to their senses and emergency banned Peregrine Drake from the Pauper format.... may it never be unbanned. The beast that was Izzet Drake has been slain.

Epochalyptik? Sticky?

For the pauper players: are there any decks that will come back now that Drake is banned?

@ducttapedeckbox: Hopefully good ole Tron.

My friend told me about it and I started sending him Sad Drake Memes.

Heck I should get my playset of Drakes altered so the art is Sad Drake.

Actually, all decks can live again.

Wizards cannot ban cloud faerie and print their better version a month later at common. I am actually surprised it is this late.

And yet Delver is still legal.

From my understanding of the format, Delver is very good but not oppressive like Drake.

Delver is only 6% of the decks. Unless you mean blue aggro which is 11%.

Flicker was 22% which is more than both these decks combine.

So can anyone point me to some broken strategies to run with any of the following Pauper commander choices:

Plated Crusher

Ascended Lawmage

Invisible Stalker

"All these Magic cards but she had to play me." ~Drake

In all seriousness, I'm glad it's gone. The deck wasn't unbeatable, but it was pretty damn oppressive for a lot of decks. When a good third of your sideboard is devoted to hate on one specific deck, it's probably an issue.
