Hi, I am going to try to review all of the cards of Rivals that are Pauper legal.
River Darter
a 2/3 for three that has really bad evasion. Draft fodder 1/5
You know it, you tolerate it, it is the best fetch in the format. 4/5
Swab Goblin
A bear with two good types. Goblin and Pirate may become important tribes but it is a little too vanilla for anything really competitive unless Pirates are seriously pushed in Rivals.
Vraska's Champion
One toughness away from being okay. Only having one black mana symbol hurts it a lot too. Deathtouch would be nice but it is really good on small creatures with minimal investment, being on a large creature with a large investment is silly and not very good.
1/5
Cinder Barrens
Woooo another reprint of a tap lands. 2/5
I will update this as more cards are spoiled.
I agree with the above comment - it is not that it is not needed, but it needs a lot more attention to detail than it currently has. Now, Pauper is an established format and very little from Rivals is likely to impact it.
I have personally done a couple of articles on "cards in set useful in Pauper" and found that rather than listing everything and 75% having a score of 1/5 or 2/5, just list the good things.
Anybody who has any interest in Pauper probably knows that Cinder Barrens is not really a factor, so just omit it.
TLDR: Wait for full spoiler, then give us just the good stuff.
P.S. I have not written a Pauper article in while, may do one on Ixalan block.

Why make an entire new thread for 4 cards, with no links, and what amounts to two paragrapghs of writing which says nothing. Reviews within the wheelhouse of pauper or whatever need to be more than just this is a card and needs to talk about its role in the wider format. What it compares too. What makes it bad etc.
I give your review 2/10.
